I am currently pursuing my master's degree, but I doubt that I will switch parties.

^^^ Darling, teachers should make sure their students learn all points of view, especially considering that most of the world views capitalism with as much hate as neocons do socialism.
I agree with the finding. I have two Phd- holding Parents and a sister with a Master's and they're as progressive as can be. I think the more one learns about facts and logic, the less one needs to cling to religious hysteria.
A study sure would have been nice, though.

Disagree.
A lot depends on what field the higher educated choose to pursue.
A lot of the time, the phds remain in academia where they work in an idealized world. On the other hand, BS and MS folks usually get out in business, and have to deal with the realities associated with that. Has a tendency to make you look at the world through different eyes.

What study? You didn't provide a link. Was the study conducted by the U.S Communist Party or some leftist news group?
You see Republicans check these things out. We don't just buy "a study" said this or that.
If it's true here is likely why. It's not anything ideological. Most of the folks you are talking about rely on government research grants to conduct their living. They exist off the public dollar and the Dems love to pass out the money to every frivolous project out there. You know so we can built giant reception stations to listen for aliens in space and other dumb things “higher educated” folks like to do with our money.

It’s sad when teachers promote anti-capitalism and pro-liberalism views on their students. Not surprising that 99 cents out of every dollar donated to Congress is given to the Democrat party. So many students trust teachers as being honest, but instead are promoting their political agenda on young gullible students
American Federation of Teachers
The American Federation of Teachers represents 1 million teachers, school staff, higher education faculty and other public employees. As one of the leading education groups on Capitol Hill, the federation lobbied heavily on President Bush’s education plan, beating back attempts to attach pro-voucher amendments.

People with higher degrees have spent much more time in our super liberal biased school system, especially universities. The more time you spend in the system the better brainwashed you become. Unless you are someone who can think for themselves and not fall victim to the brainwashing.

You will be told it is because liberal professors brain washed those getting advanced degrees. None of my engineering or science professors ever talked about politics.

Sounds like good news to me. Since there are so few people with that kind of education, the majority of us will continue voting Republican.

Those who can't do....Keep going to school.
I have never voted for a democrat
I have a MA
Maybe I will stop believing in individual rights and property rights if I keep going to school.
