Hi, My name is Katie and i am 12 in 7th grade, and i was wondering, do i need a underwire bra, regular bra, sports bra, or kiddy bra?...i am sizes 30,32 A and mabey even 34 A....And i was wondering what kind of bra i should use...and ways to convince my mom that i want to try on some bra's seeing how it is so close to Christmas..., (i do have bra's)..i want a bra that will make my boobs look real but not so big that they don't fit my body, and when i wear bra's with no underwire, there is a weird type of indent at the top of the bra and the bra tends to fold at the bottom of the bra ...what does this mean, is it to big or to small?...PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!

i would just ask your mom to take you to a bra store. this way, you can see all the styles and a worker can help you with sizes. if you go w/your mom you can show her what you like.

1] first, learn how to measure yourself.
a] measure around chest, directly under bust. Add 5 inches - this is your BAND size. Ex: 29 inches around, plus 5 inches, = 34 inches.
b] measure around fullest part of bust - and subtract the BAND size to get your CUP size. Ex: 35 inches around, minus 34 inch band = 1 inch, or an A cup. [ 2 inches = B; 3 inches = C, 4 =D, etc. ] Your size would be 34A.
2] the band of the bra should fit snugly but not be tight - you should be able to get two fingers under the band easily.
3] the cups should fill when you bend over to put bra on, before you clasp it. You may have to 'shove' them in place a little.
4] straps should be tightened after the band and cups fit - to prevent them from falling down, not to hold up your breast. Cups should do that.
5] Try a size bigger or smaller in cup sizes if the cups wrinkle up - the cups could be too big; but this can also happen when cups are too small, and breast tissue 'spills' out the sides.
6] You shouldn't need an underwire if you are an A - but whatever works...I'd suggest regular - look for proper size.
7] a 30A cup is smaller than a 32A cup, is smaller than a 34A cup, etc.

Just wear sports bras. I'm a 34C and I always wear sports bras because they're the most comfortable ones ever. ^.^
