Hi. I have a really appropriate piece for you, which I hope will be in answer to your question.

Time.

Once upon a time there was no time,
except night time and day time.
Then somebody put numbers
where the sun was
and time became endless,
instead of just here and now time.
Time began to pass
sometimes slowly, sometimes fast.
Sometimes there wasn't enough time
and other times, time was vast.
There became a time to live and a time to die
and an old father time,
with his beady eye on those who,
though they were watching time fly
might not know it was their time to die.
People learned all about the beginning of time
but became afraid about the end
because to them endings were sad,
even though those they left behind
still had time left to live.
And when they died
their time wasn't really up
it just became timeless,
like it was, once upon a time
when there only was night time and daytime,
before anyone had put numbers where the sun was.

It is normally assoiciated when something bad happens and it is as if it goes in slow motion like a fall or death.
I have experienced it three times when my grandad passed, my nana passed but most significant when I was with the doctors and they were telling the worst news possible that they could do no more for my daughter.
It felt for a split second time had stood still and I was watching on outside like Bluebell said almost well definatly spiritual.

Yes I have Bex and it is the most weird feeling - too weird to even begin to explain what it feels like or what it is. Unless you have experienced it you can't know but it is just that as if time is frozen for a moment. Don't know what the purpose of it is I am afraid but I suspect that, as we are only a dimension away (a click of the fingers) from the spirit world, that it is a fusing of both worlds just for a second or two. xx

Yes, it's that odd feeling you get sometimes when it feels like although you carry on as normal, everything else has somehow stopped.
Bizarrely I often get that feeling on Xmas day, when you spend five minutes alone in the loo or something.

Yes......when I'm painting. You lose track of time. The way I understand it, you are using the right side of your brain (the left side being the logical side), and it doesn't function in that manner. It's mainly visual, where the left side is the thinking, mathematical, logical put-it-into-words side.

your heart misses a beat and you can see something very very clearly just for a second or two and then 'bump' back to earth and normality
