assistant program at the community college and my ACT is only 14. Pretty bad huh. I was 18 and not to much on studying at the time. Do you think I may do better on it this time around if I apply myself at the age of 35? I need at least a 16 and an 18 would be even better. :)

you may want to talk to your community college. you may not need to take the ACT. I know that in my state you can take the COMPASS test, which is easier then the ACT. However, if you do decide to take it I think you can improve your score....just get a good study book and maybe take an ACT prep course!
good luck:)

Do you need an ACT for a CC? Usually they aren't required, but yes you can retake if it is needed. Do check and make sure. Usually a CC doesn't require and if you transfer to a senior college with a certain number of credits you don't need either.

there's no harm done trying... and like they say..."try and try until you succeed.." put that in mind... retake it.. as long as you still qualified and that they have no objections...
