which so you think is more accepted in today society.. and why?

Either are accepted in most of society. However, there are still many people out there who cannot, will not accept either one.
Love is the only guidance we should live by and when two people truly love and care about each other, age should have no bearing on their feelings. Nor should society judge either as being wrong.
Society in general has accepted interracial marriage. Of course there will always be bigots who condone it. So if marrying someone outside of your own race is ok why should it not be ok to marry someone younger or older than you.
If you are asking this as a personal question as you are thinking of dating someone older or younger than yourself I say go for it, never shut someone out of your life who could turn out to be perfect for you just because of their age.

Probably older men with younger women.
Older men have no merit in reproducing because their sperm isn't healthy and can cause problems for an infant. So they shouldn't probably be breeding, but this society is ruled over by males.

In society males are valued rather than females because they have physical strength over females most of the time. It's such a primitave thing that humans don't even see it such as how reproduction rules the majority of us (excluding myself) in our behavior and descisions.

The main problems in society today are often the fault of the male because there are simply too many. Males are not needed in large amounts (in all nature) and thus are more likely to obtain a disease or live shorter lives because once their reproductive days are over, they don't usually contributue much to the social society (no matter how wonderful your grandfather may be grandmothers help take care of the grandchildren thus the future of the species). Because there are too many males, humans, which are already competitive by nature, become more competitive thus becoming violent over resources. Assults on women, on eachother, wars, are caused by the male in which laws were created to protect the male from themselves.

The people in power will always manipulate culture to their own ends.

Older men and younger women. 'Cause men are allowed by our society to be perverts by women who are just desperate for a man, any man. And that's the least perverted in their minds. Besides that, it has been the practice from times of old when men who were farmers needed help on his farm so he married a young woman to breed. And raise his own employees. We also had sweatshops back in the begining of this country.

I think, older men+younger women is a much more conventional arrangement. Why? I would guess because it's much more common. Men have a longer reproductive span than do women, so older men have always been naturally attracted to women in their reproductive prime.

for some reason society seems to accept the former rather than the latter. innate prejudices against women one would think. however, there are always going to be certain segments of society that will never accept either. with that said, to me, it doesn't matter who accepts what as long as the two people involved are happy with who they are, and who they are with.

Depending on where you live,either or is accepted.Things are different not matter where you are and where you go,that's how we live.One place older and in another place younger.take time out and go sit in a few places in/out of town and ask yourself what do you really see.
