A deposit was taken from the credit card and documents were signed. Please advise as to the issues or penalties that may be a result of termination of this agreement. Also, note that no communication has been received since signing the agreement in Orlando. I am a British resident.

Typically if you do not pay it will foreclose and will hurt your credit. Seeing that you are not from the US I am not sure if this will hurt you or not. You typically get 10 days to terminate on the contract so I think your only option is to call them and see how to get out of the contract. Most likely they will tell you that their is no way out at this point.

Even though you signed you can always go back to your Credit card company an dispute the charge and say you didn't know what this was for and didn't understand what you were signing. Can't hurt to try the Credit card company is on your side not the timeshare company

I suspect that your termination is beyond any termination, if you have signed a contract and paid monies. Given that you are a Brit, I highly doubt that the issue would be pursued in the courts in your country.

Read your agreement. It will tell you if you can terminate it and what any penalty will be for doing so.

Before anything you should check in to your rescission period clause. In some resorts you are still able to cancel as long as you have not used the unit.
