Why do people make such a big deal of Ah-Friggin-Mericans? What makes us apart from everyone else in the world? How can someone tell that I am american just by one post about deep frying a turkey? besides that,... What makes people be able to tell and american from any other yahoo poster?

Um..Im not exactly sure what the heck you are talking about. But I may have an idea. Um, for a starter, some people are jealous of the way Americans' standard of living is, and they may believe that sometimes, we may not act the humblest. Plus, the whole comment about deep frying a turkey, well, youll just have to ask the person who commented. Their racist comment may signify that we are not good cooks and always need help from yahoo answers! And, there really is no way to tell american posters and other posters except for the fact that they are in the U.S section, or that racist people are apparenlty able to "identify" the questioner. Americans usually miss the international postings and answer like the poster is an American - I am also guilty of that. Some things like frying Turkeys are also only an American thing. Americans tend to generalize more and relate everything to things in the US, instead of taking a broader view - many Americans don't even know the broader view, so we tend to sound like idiots on a lot of issues. I flinch when I read some postings - the overbearing tone, the ignorant conclusions, the "why" that every child outside the US knows..so embarassing! LOL

I read the question you posted, and I think if others did the same instead of responding with stupid answers about your spelling, they would clearly see you were insulted for no reason at all. Just ignore idiotic, arrogant people like that. They're the ones with the issues, not you.
And I don't know where you can get a deep fried turkey, but it is good and there's nothing wrong with liking it.

Because illegal immigration from Mexico is a very BIG topic these days in the news....too many are coming into the USA illegally, getting jobs, and even getting government benefits.....there are many concerns about it. Try not to take it personally if you are a legal American citizen, but the illegal
stuff HAS TO STOP.

people suck! people judge..... people have 'ideas' of what people are on the inside. a stereotype. just like the chicken, collard greens and watermelon being africans. or anything spicey being mexican....
don't worry about it hun. doesn't matter if your a poster on yahoo answers or someone walking out on the streets...someone is there judging you. just keep your head up and don't worry about it! =)

i don't know, but i've seen a lot of dumb questions these days and i think many of them come from us.
the questions that many of us american ask that make americans like me embarassed are "my boyfriend abuses me, what should i do?" or even "i saw this guy yesterday and he's a lot cuter than my boyfriend, should i dump him and go out with the cuter guy?"
