I will be 45 12/30/07, I have TWO box sets of Buggs Bunny, I refuse to grow up. I have a daughter that done the same thing you are doing except for not driving until 18, I talked to her til my face melted and fell down to my waist and she STILL done it her way. She got a credit card....worked it over with both hands....then thought she may need a job to pay for it. I told her she was going to pay, not me, if I paid it she would expect me to pay it every time. She went into the Army reserve and she liked it so much she went full time, she's been in 2 1/2 years now and plans to stay for 20 and retire, she would be 38 and still have time to do whatever she wants and be getting a real nice monthly check from the Army. She looked at it from the start as #1 getting away from her mother..#2 free room and board..#3 learning a trade..#4 making a good check with no expense

You can't mature all in one day! First you need to get a job! Take the A&F job. Most places will hire you if you have already had a job. You say no place else will take you? Did you fill out a lot of applications? Fill applications out for places you don't like. (a job's a job, if you get paid who cares) The next thing is you need to pay off your debt then get a bank account. You want to be more mature so set up things yourself and don't rely on your parents. Don't move out yet! Your only 18!

get a job. im sorry (sarcasim) there isnt a job for you that starts off at 100,000 a year. take a job work where ever while you look somewhere else where you can get more money. pay your bills, open a checking account, buy a car. if i were you i wouldnt move out. you are living for free, more money for you to save up. with the money you could be spending on an apartment you could save that up and maybe put a down payment on a house a few years from now.

Don't have a credit card.
Don't spend any money until you have some.
Don't ask your parents to help you
Get a job any job b4 you get any older mostly for experience and you will have to grow up fast (you have to do as you are told).
Work two jobs at once until you have saved $5000.
MacDonald's, washing dishes, waiting tables, babysitting,
cleaning you are already behind the 8ball for not having had a job already. Get rid of cell phone or just use for emergency.
You have to crawl before you can walk. (by the way did anyone ever teach you to say please?)
Good luck

I know you want to hurry up and get on with it already ,, but Car insurance at your age is more then a cheep car each month you have to go buy another cheap car ( in a matter of speeking ) , your own apartment again , ching ching , you would spend every last dime you get to stay alive ,,, no left over money for fun ... so stay home , let your mom and dad feed you and shelter you ,, you can go out on week ends that way ,, and if you do get a fair job you can even try to buy a car ,, But again insurance is your major expence ,, save up for a few years , stay at home ,, till you become slightly well off ,,, your parants will be proud of you for your dedication to get your life in order first ,, it won't be easy or fast but by the time your 30 you will be secure financially that is ,, I know you won't do as I have sugested ,, but when you get to be thirty you can look at your husband and say ,, You know ,,, they told me to save up ,,, but I couldn't ,,, boy I wish I would have listened ,, take the Abercombie job and stay home ,, thats my advice . but have fun ,, don't spend every last minuet you have worring about money , let your folks help ., they won't mind , they want you to succeed..

get. a. job. you said you were jobless yet you won't accept a&f as a job. its not a real job but it something. why do you have a credit card no job and no bank account to even save money that you come across? cut up your credit card and pay your debt off. your digging yourself into debt and buying things you can't afford. buy what you need not waht you want.

You want real responsibilities?
Okay ....
Find a job and pay off your credit card. Save up money and buy a car. Find an apartment that you can afford. Move in.
Can only find jobs that don't pay much?
Have questions you don't know how to get answers for?
Unsure which direction to go in?
Welcome to adult life.
Good luck!
