We have lots of crows where I live-they are murder!

Well, the oils on their feet can be used to make anti-aging creams. So, most of the anti-aging creams used are made out of "crow foot oil". They also eat insects that normaly eat plants that are grown. Since the plants are not eaten by insects, they will grow and be harvested by the farmer. They will be sold for a profit. So, in a way crows make us money. Some people eat crows. So, if you have a very noisy crow that annoys you, it could become your dinner :-).

They keep the magpies out of my garden which is good. Magpies come in gangs, are very noisy and are real hooligans. Crows make a bit of noise but not much because they do not arrive mob-handed. They live in single family units (until they kick the young out of the neighbourhood) so there is usually only Mr & Mrs who stay together as a couple.

Well, crows are generally considered pests and a big nuisance.They serve as foods for their predators which include raptors, hawks,and owls, that could be one of the good things on their existence.

Other than being important because they are part of the food chain I don't know.....though many a politician has had to eat crow.

Well they were bloody good actors in the old Hitchcock movie...The Birds..I think they deserved an oscar.The only problem was that you could not tell the main character from the extras but hey thats showbiz.

Crows are carrion eaters and clean up the environment. So crows are GOOD!

They eat dead things on the road. This helps reduce disease.
