Lots of people only care about getting the hottest new gadget or they're rushing around finding that expensive gift for so-and-so, for example. What about the real meaning..like spending time with family, friends and even the religious meanings?
I don't even celebrate Christmas and yet I realize it's real meaning. I just think it's way to commercialized. What do you think?

Yes, it has become commercialized. The trick is not paying attention to that aspect of the holyday/holiday.

It's sickening the way people are at Christmas. People will buy anything just because they HAVE to get people something....people who they don't even associate with any other time of the year, but they HAVE to get them something. All you hear about at Christmas is how the retail stores are doing. And all the bickering over "Holiday tree vs Christmas tree" and "Happy Holidays vs Merry Christmas." And omg, they're trying to take Christ out of Christmas. Good Lord people.....get a life!

Yes. I heard X-Mas music on the radio before Thanksgiving. It is starting to get insane. Then people try to make it the season of giving, and I just roll my eyes.

It is definitely the most commercialized time of the year, but I like it that way. Heck, we get stuff! Lol.
