Janis Joplin, she put so much heart and soul into her music...
I'm not saying cher's not good either, she's awesome too, but I saw an interview with Janis and when she was asked why she performs, she about broke down in tears when explaining that she did it for the love of her music and fans, I really felt her emotion when watching it..
I saw the interview on Youtube.. I had a question about which is better "bonnie tyler or janis Joplin" lol...

without a doubt, janis joplin. Janis had so much more purpose to her music, where as Cher seems so shallow.
