i use my DVD burner in one day.am i risking any defects whilst burning 3 empty dvds less than 2 hours

No problem - you should be able to burn all day if necessary.

i dont think theres a limit for how much you can use it i mean theyre built to do what they do so im sure its safe as long as you dont burn 24/7 then maybe you might start to have problems
