Nope, we ended up chucking a large jar of Branston, pickled onions and beetroot out in August this year, we never use them so god knows why we buy them, your right, Christmas in the shops is a form of drug pushing.

It is traditional. My auntie always purchased one of each, along with babycham in shipping quantities, bottles of ginger wine and big trays of toffee with a little hammer that was supposed to break it, but hardly ever did.
I bought some beetroot and jars of onions when Tesco were selling them in the summer for one penny. That'll do us.

What I have noticed Razzle is that in the last year or two beetroot has almost doubled in price! Don't invest in oil, keep on stocking them jars buddy!!

I know what you mean! There is all sorts of odd food floating around the shops at christmas time, particularly in jars. It really is a confounding phenomenon.

I have not notacied that and I'm so glad cuz pickled onions are shrunken alien heads and if they sell that many they will regenerate and kill us all
