Good thing you found out now.

NEVER pay upfront for ANYTHING!

Your talent, desire, dedication, etc. do not mean diddly-squat.
Daddy's (or Mommy's) checkbook is all that matters.

The only way to be an actor is to act. If you can make enough money for other people, you will be inundated with representation offers.

This is the world of Show Business

It happens all the time. These people are parasites feeding off of kids' dreams.

And they never seem to run out of easy marks. Every kid nowadays wants to be a famous actor/model/singer.

Find a real modeling agency. The kind that doesn't operate a "modeling school". If you have the body structure of a model, you will only need some good amateur shots of yourself to show them. If you don't have the body structure of a model, all the expensive portfolio shots in the world won't get you inhto a real modeling agency.

It is so common. There are lots of folks out there scamming the kids because they know how bad they want to be actors. One of the things I do on this forum is try to keep people from getting scammed.

Yes this is common and some people buy into it.

All you do is lose your money.

Real companies may charge a nominal fee like $50.

Real companies don't take pictures BUT they may want you to leave 100 copies with them (and that costs YOU).
