Hey Mr. Wright,
I been skipping Xmas for Forty five years after discovering the celebration is not scriptural but Pagan. It's far less stressful and a relief to just forget it. I like some of the older seasonal music but rest of it, I can easily do without.
May the winter season be kind to you, to greet the spring in joy.

personally it's not so bad, you just have to see the way you write Christmas to figure out you are celebrating for the wrong reasons anyway. I hate all the commercialization involved.
"Maybe we're just new-millennium Scrooges, but for many of us, the holiday season has become something to dread. Between the traffic-choked rat race, shopping bacchanalia, and culture wars sniping over the politics of Christmas, what used to be the best time of year has increasingly become just the opposite.
That is why it is so heartening to feel fresh counterwinds blowing in the run-up to Christmas 2007, to see new approaches to the big holiday that promise to bring back the parts that we've seemingly forgotten — especially the peace and hope parts."

Are you kidding? Nobody ever skips Christmas! It's a way of life it's the reason we live. It's deeply embedded into all of our beings, it's in your soul, it's in your mind it's everywhere, just like GOD......Oh, by the way it's CHRISTMAS not Xmas.

why would anyone want to skip Christmas?? Most people love the holidays-- maybe it would be because they can't afford to pay-- but if that is the case then they should apply to the holiday basket program because they get gifts on those peoples wishlist and then get them and wrap them up to send to those people. If anyone out there is skipping Christmas for that reason, please apply to something like that because we all want everyone to enjoy the holiday season.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!!!!!

You'll feel sort of left out when your colleagues talk about if they're done shopping and what they're shopping for and events they'll be doing over the holidays.
You'll miss the surprise of opening gifts and the reaction people get when they open their gift.

Yes - due to unforseen circumstances we will be skipping Christmas. But I am sure that we will make up for it next year.
