IYO; what makes Reykjavik [Iceland] so great?

I need personal opinions for a term paper.

It's a small city and big city all in one. It's a small city, with less than 200 thousand inhabitants and it doesn't cover a very large area. However, you can find everything you need there and do most things you can think of without facing the problems you'd experience in big cities.

Reykjavík is quiet, yet so full of life. And it's very beautiful. That's why I like it.
