It's normal girl. I'm 32 and I change my tampons more than that.

It depends on the size of your pad. Also, like someone said, everyone is different.
I'm older and been through some tough periods (like changing every half hour!). If you are uncomfortable with the amount of your flow, especially if you have a lot of pain or clotting, tell your mom or another adult and see the doctor.
You're still young and your body is getting used to the hormones and stuff. But see the doctor if you have that much concern.

I change up to 6 times a day, especially on the first few heavier days of my period. What you are describing sounds normal. If you are saturating a pad in less than 30 minutes, then you should seek medical help, otherwise just change when you feel it needs to be changed and keep clean.

That seems about normal for about the first 2 -3 days of your period. If you have to change them 5 times after the third day, then your flow could be too heavy.

It really depends on the girl, but i'm 13, too, and sometimes i change it like 4 to 5 times a day. it really depends on how heavy your period is and some people have a heavier period than others. I know this is a sensetive subject with some people but talking about it with your mom or aunt, grandma, ect. is a good idea. also your period dosen't get heavier as you age, more like as your body gets used to your hormones and stuff. someone 13 can have a heavier period than someone 20 sometimes. totally depends.

i change it 5 or more times a day. I like to feel clean. Use as many as you feel you should use to stay clean. There is only a problem if you are changing it up to every hour. so don't worry you are fine and it is normal!

that's okay. and being 13 doesn't matter how many times you change it, for some people get their period at 9, while other's 16... you should change it 2-4 hours depending on how much "menstrual fluid" is found there.

i only wore one pad a day. but i always folded toilet paper up to add an extra layer. then about every two or three hours, i changed the paper, and wasted less pads. but it all depends on how heavy your flow is. or, you could try tampons. i started using them at 13 an it was simple.
