Ok, i need help identifying and graphing linear equations and putting them in standard form. So can anyone give me a couple of answers and tell me how you got them???!!Please

the directions say to determine whether each equation is a linear equation,if so write the equation in standard form
1) 3x=5y

2) 6xy + 3x =4

3) 7y=2x + 5x

4)3/x +4/y =2

5) 7n - 8m =4 - 2m

Thank you to anyone who can help me!!

Hi,
Y= mx +c is a stand equation.
Conver all of them in above format
ex: 3x=5y

y=3x/5

any given values of 'x', you can find y values

ex: x = 0 means y=3*0/5 =0
x=1 means y=3*1/5 = 3/5
x=2 means y= 6/5

You can draw these (x,y) points in a graph.
hope this helps.

solve for 1 variable then graph:

3x=5y
y = 3x/5
y = 3/5*x
this is a line intersecting 0 rising to the right.

6xy + 3x =4
6xy = 4 - 3x
y = (4 - 3x)/6x
y = 1/6 * x * (4 - 3 * x)
This is a curve intersecting 0

etc.
