They give you a date that is later than when it actually shows up. It may be delayed because of Christmas, maybe you'll know better next time when ordering stuff this time of year.

3 to 5 days may be the shipping time. When you were checking out there should have also been an estimated shipping date. I have ordered quite a few computers from Dell for home as well as the company I work for. They generally arrive fairly quick and ahead of their estimated date.

Dell shipping is separate from the process of building a computer. Once you place your order, they custom-built your computer. This can take anywhere from a few hours to 2 weeks (though anything longer than 5 days is pretty unusual). Then, it ships, at which time it will take the 3-5 days.

I order from Dell for my business all the time, and they are almost always faster than their expected ship date, however, this is their busiest time of year, so your expected delivery date may be accurate.

Never arrives in 3-5 business days. Two weeks is more like it.

I think u placed ur order in the net for lowest bidding. It will take some days for shipping as they place orders to lowest prized firms and items started journey only after placing the orders. Pls check whether they said how many days to take delivery while u placing the order.

Dell, among other companies is so inundated with purchases that you may ,in fact, not get your new item before Christmas time. The only way you could expedite the process is to call them back and see if it's not too late to use a faster shipping method.

it'll be there in 3 - 5 days that aren't weekends OR holidays and maybe they have a big holiday break. You can complain to them after christmas and see if they give you some money back. I know a company shipped me something late for christmas once and i got it free. that wouldnt happen with a pc, but they might knock a lot off if they advertised that it would be there by xmas.

Mine arrived early. You should get an email with a tracking number. Dell cannot control UPS, so you are at their mercy.

The order goes through a process department, and then released to the building floor for them to build your system, and then they send it to be tested by another department. You will be able to check the status after 24hrs and it should have gone to the floor for building, and once it's build it will normally ship within 24hrs. I work for Dell for 10 years, and you will recieve it within three to five days pending there is no unexpected delays.
