I am 8 1/2 weeks pregnant, and I am finding that my jeans are already getting a little uncomfortable. It's not so much that I've gained weight, but I think I am bloated a lot, and it makes me feel so sick and uncomfy to wear tight pants. I'm definitely not big enough to wear maternity pants- so what can I do?

I wore comfy sweat pants and whatever else has an elastic waistband or tie. Old Navy actually has some awesome pants in their maternity section that are normal looking jeans with an elastic band. I got mine for $20 because they are onsale right now!

GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATS!

What has made me survive until i could get a few maternity pants was leggings with cute shoes and long tops.

Other women told me to get a belly band, or put the rubberband through the hold and holding the button, but i really found that uncomfortable.

I found also that a black and brown stretchy knit dress goes a long way in a pregnancy.

I was already popping out at 8 1/2 weeks. I know exactly what ur talking about!

JUST BUY a pair of jeans in a size that fits until you can fit maternity like if you wear a 6 try an 8 or so on it will give you some more space for a while

i used an elastic hair band for a while, it was uncomfy but worked when i was in a pinch!
then i went out & got nice knit slacks & empire waist shirts in a size or two bigger--they've been great! i'm 30 wks & still in them & have room to grow.
i HATED all the maternity clothes i've seen. and at least with a bigger size of reg clothes, they'll work postpartum before i lose the baby weight

I bought sweat pants and bigger jeans. The jeans I bought were kind of loose around the waist, and now that I'm 6months, they've finally started to get tight. So I've started using the rubberband/hairband method.

I never wore maternity pants because over the tummy bugged me. I went to a store called Vanity and got regular pants in bigger sizes

-First choice would be a Bella Band (First link) They are wonderful and then you can wear your regular pants for another month or three.

-Until you can get one I would suggest using the hair band method. Loop one end around the button then put through the button hole then back to the button.

Good Luck!

Wear sweat pants, or other stretch pants. Some of them look stylish, but will fit for a while more.

One easy fix is to wear pants below your belly (really low) and wear longer tops. I'm 22 weeks, showing, and doing that right now.
