I LOVE this name. I actually have a little story I can tell you. I got pregnant at an early age .. boyfriend took off. I was working at this place at the time where I had become pretty good friends with a lady there. Shortly afterwards I got another job at a pharmacy. The lady started coming in and getting prescriptions, she had found out that she had cancer. Her last name was Mason. She passed away while I was still pregnant. She had confided in me with a lot of things and even after she died her husband came in and told me how much she had enjoyed getting to know me and talking to me. (I was 20 and she was probably 45 or 50 at the time). I decided I wanted to name my child Mason Curtis (Curtis just because I liked the name.) My Mom threw a FIT! She did not like the name and did not want me to name my child that at all if it was a boy. Well, he was a boy .. and I changed what I wanted to name him because my Mom was so adamant. I had even explained to her WHY I wanted to name him that and she didn't care. It hurt me, but I changed it just to please her. I don't hate my son's name now (it is Jared Lee .. Lee was my grandmother's middle name on one side and my grandfather's middle name on the other side.) I have never had anymore children. I do wish I had stuck to my guns on the name ... but my Mom was very controlling and I was living with my parents at the time ...

Mason not for a boy but I think it's unique on a girl you shoulda named her Mason anyway. Let her have you a grandchild when she's older and name the baby Mason. Even if it's a damn boy!

Yeah, but it is getting pretty common. I know a couple of people who either named their son Mason, or have a Mason in their family.

i used to babysit a little girl who liked a little boy named Mason. it was cute. she named her pet mouse Mason. i don't really like the name but i dont hate it either. sorry you can't have anymore children. if you can afford it, adopt. then you can have the Mason you've always wanted.

ITS A GOOD NAME HOWEVER IT SOUNDS MORE LIKE AN " OCCUPATION " I THINK. BUT THERE ARE NAMES WORSE THAN MASON. THE MORE I SAY MASON THE MORE I LIKE IT. YOU CAN ALWAYS WAIT FOR THE CHILD TO GET OLDER AND LET THEM DECIDE ON A NAME AND IN THE MEAN TIME CALL HIM " HEY YOU " !!
