New bank service?

Question

I am in a competition related with inventing a new banking service and need some ideas to get me started.
If you can help but telling your idea for a new one or to
improve an existing one will be much appreciated!

i do all of banking in what is called mom and pop banks the ones that are on the corner and make out of brick -- i am the first to realize that internet banking has chopped away at the base and there overhead/profit has suffered from it == but i think that the mom and pop bank need to put out more meaningful information to the folks that put their funds under there control!!! example right now my bank is giving roughly 4.95 on cd == you may be able to go to Inga on line and get say 5.11 that is great but unless you have a lot of money involved it means little lets say i have 50k in cds in the little brick bank if i switch to Inga i will receive an additional 80..-- a year -- yes 80 dollars is 80 dollars but when i go to my bank they call my my name and i would not have any problem getting advise and has all kinds of free services from copying documents to passing out free candy and lets not calendar at the end of year!!!
