If she eats well, and is in good health, then the baby will be fine...

But seriously...
(a) irregular periods are NOT unusual for young girls. Unless you're sure, saying anything will cause trouble where there may not be any.
(b) if there is a problem, it will be obvious in about 3 or 4 months.
(c) Not your business. She's got parents, what happens to her is their problem.Unless they pay you to babysit her every minute, leave it to them. You can warn them from time to time, but all you're going to do is get them and her annoyed at you.
(d) I assume you're much older. Does she need someone to confide in? (Not you, if you're going to blab.) If she's as far gone as she says, she may want someone adult to get her birth control, not to squeal to the parents. After all, once they start, they aren't going to stop, but birth control can reduce several risks.
(e) The biggest problem with sex is not physical - it's that messes with your brain. Are 13yo's mature enough to handle relationships and break-ups? (Many grown-ups aren't). If she needs someone to talk to, if it can't be you, find her an impartial counsellor.

I had that happen when I was her age. It could be due to a few things.
I believe it is common in early teenage years, give her body time to come to a full cycle-- unless she started her period early, then she should be in full cycle by now.

Everyone swore I was pregnant when it happened to me, but I was a virgin until 23. It turned out I had a cyst on one ovary. This caused me to miss periods just about every other month. Mine didn't cause me any pain or discomfort for quite a while. She may appear fine, but that could be the problem.

Yes, she could be pregnant

She can actually be stressed. It is very difficult for one person to figure whether another is stressed or not. You can't really say whether she is or isn't.

With any of these, I would have her parent take her to the doctor. Any of these will need attention, even if it is stress.

Your niece is at an age where she needs her own independence & space, don't force her to stay in the 'closet' as she needs to express herself on her own time. At this vulnerable time, I suggest that her family should have a strong communication level with her and ensure her that the family will still be there for her, no matter what. Know where her whereabouts are, and have an open mind of understanding her when she does talk to you guys. Lying should not be tolerated...she needs to be strongly disciplined when she is caught lying. By allowing her priviliges will allow her to repeat the same situation over again...also keep her strongly informed about sex, hiv, teen pregnancy etc....if she don't want to talk, buy info books & leave it where she's likely to find it...
also, try & remind yourself of what you were like & how you think when you were that age...put yourself in her shoes. i remember my family always making assumptions about me with things that weren't even true, it broke the trust issues between myself & my own family so it drove me further away with rebellion...
Now I'm 31 years old, and with a 13 year old daughter myself...I consider myself lucky with her attitude so far! Just alot of trust, communication & understanding should be involved.

the period thing is probably beacuase she in young and irregular. As for the behavior issues - it is time for a belt spanking. hard discipline is necessary before she does something to permanently screw up her life. As the older aunt, beat that butt till it's bright red and she needs to sit on a pillow for a couple of days.

It is very common for young girls to have irregular periods. Plus, this is probably something her mother should be confronting her about.

She may be pregnant, and your brother or sister needs to see to it that she's supervised 24/7.
