books... the films don't really do it justice as there is too much story to fit into 2 hours so the story feels rushed.... also there is something much more satisfying about the books as you use your own imagination to conjure up the magic... you get more story... and reading is better for your brain...

I would have to say the same ofr me on th films, I am nto much of a bookworm, it could take me a good long time to finish one book, when a lot of people could get way more books read during the time that it takes for me to read one. But I can see why people might perfer the bopoks better, s because with the movies, they just can't keep everything in a movie, and they have to edit the movie. Evne with the editing job on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phenoix, where the book is 840 some pages, and they turned it into a 2 hour and 18 minute movie. That is quite the job of editing to me, which also makes me glad that I don't have that job.

the book of course because everything is more clear. fans on yahoo answers keep asking about the plot because they chose not to read the book so they don't understand how much has been cut out of the film. the book is what made me read like i do now. its my inspiration to be a writer. the book gave me a visual first

EDIT i read the books first but i STILL still am in love with the movies. i love the movies but the books have a deeper meaning but hell i will be there on the first day in november on the 21st to see the next one. even if i have to camp out!!
