Do i need to take them? It does not count for the school i want to transfer. The class is trig, and i have to take it with pre calculus the same semester

-requisite means required. That is why a prerequisite is something which you must take before you can take another course. In the case of a corequisite class, you risk not getting a grade for one if you don't take both.

Chances are, the school you're in will require you to take them...that's why they are listed as corequisites. Talk to an advisor because it may be possible for them to do an override if you don't actually need to take them to transfer.
