First of all, yes i know i'm stupid for even doing it, but i never thought in a thousand years she would do something like this.
she went through a drive thru pharmacy, and claimed she was someone else and took their narcotics. she even called them in to be filled. we know this person (who she took the pills from) and that is how i found out that she did this.
the person that owns the rx calle the cops and filled out a police report. to throw a wrench into it, i used to buy a few here and there from this person. she said if the police question her she will remain silent, but i know my friend that took the rx will try to bring us both down. if it comes to that, and i stay silent and the rx owner stays silent, with no physical evidence (i don't have any pills on me, in my apt or in my system), could i still be charged?

the other thing is, the owner ofthe rx is an older woman with a clean record, that i take out to run errands sometimes (so that is why we get together every couple of weeks). My record is squeaky clean (I just have 1 parking ticket from 02 and that is it), while my friend that did this just got off 30 day house arrest. not only that, but if she gets caught driving, it will be a mandatory 30 days (let alone what she just did--falsifying who she was to stealthe pills).

will thsi look better for me? or am i going to be charged with something (again with no physical evidence, just what the woman who stole the pills might say).

You need to be totally honest with the police. They will know what to do.

You asked about this a few days ago, and the law hasn't changed since.

Yes, you can be charged. If the person you bought from rolls over on you, you will be convicted.

You can and should be charged. If you want leniency, go talk to the District Attorney handling the case.

"could i still be charged?" - Sure, if during the investigation they find you did something illegal. Letting someone drive your car is not a crime even if they commit a crime while doing so unless you had fore knowledge of the crime.

In PA, any car caught with illegal drugs in it is siezed. You wouldn't be charged, but the car would be gone.
