Cats are more independant than dogs. Cats are more aloof. Cats think they are the master of you, while dogs know you are the master of them.
If you try and call a cat, they will come to you when they darn-well-please. A dog will run up to you right away.

Its like another phrase
Dogs have owners, Cats have servants
Or
You don't own a cat, a cat owns you.
Cats are a law to themself, and they are the most important thing in their universe -- Everyone serves them

its basically the old, "feed a dog and he thinks you're a king, feed a cat and he thinks hes a king"
But this isn't always true, if you truely show your cat love it will love you back in its own way.

Cats are more independent than dogs. Dogs want human companionship and are eager to please their keeper. Cats don't care if you are happy or not. :)
