Repeating your mistakes is one possible definition of insanity.
Alcoholics Anonymous says:
I walk down the street and find a familiar path and fall into a hole. I work hard to get out of the hole.
I walk down the street and find a familiar path and fall into a hole. I work hard to get out of the hole.
I walk down the street and find a familiar path and take a new road.
If you keep repeating the same events with poor results instead or trying something new then that is a good indicator or a lack of sanity.
I don’t know what situation you are talking about but lets take a common female pet peeve; the toilet seat. Most males “look before they leap” and look at the toilet seat before using it to see if it is up or down, few women do; they expect the seat to be down in their house and they get quite angry when it is not. Most married men learn fairly quickly that one way to a safer marriage is to make sure you drop the seat on the toilet when you finish; it is one less thing for your wife to yell at you about.
Some people need to be reminded now and then that they have an annoying habit or are doing something you don’t like. That could be because they don’t care about you, they don’t want to change or they are just not thinking. It may not be a matter of insanity; it could be a lack of caring.
If this is a problem, a symptom of insanity or your own problem depends. If they keep drinking and expect everything to keep going all right despite their past history of alcoholic abuse then continuing to drink is a sure sign of insanity. If someone keeps picking their nose, even in public they are not very bright and not very polite. If someone keeps saying “uh” when they speak they are annoying but the last two are not necessarily symptoms of insanity. So it depends on the degree; but otherwise I degree with you.

These people are not sensitive to others and cause problems. Non-sensitivity lead to inharmonious life, which lead to friction. Try to create the same environment and let that person realize that how irritating it is.

Why looking their mistakes, why not look their good doings instead? Our mind will not be disturbed either.
To think that they are not respecting, is our ego feeling that way.

Maybe I should try to explain it in different ways, trying not to impose myself on that person.
But if that person does not respect me, there's nothing more I can do...

There is no excuse for your typo in "respecting." I don't want to see that again.
Usually, I'm more lenient.
