My husband lite a candle at Old Saint Mary's Catholic Church and he was not even Catholic and had not talked to me yet....
He said he saw me walking down the street and asked God to bring me into his life......
A while later a got locked out of my house it was early morning.
He had a fare in the back seat of his Taxi Cab.
He stopped in front of me and asked me if I needed a ride and told me to get in the front seat.with him.
He drove to the end of the block and told the man in the back to GET OUT. The poor man got out. We talked for hours and hours ..
That was six children and13 grandchildren ago!!!!!

He initially had a crush on me when he was a sophomore and I was a freshman and always saved a seat for me on the bus to school. Even brought me a lost glove once and asked me out but I turned him down :O(

Then, strangely when he was a Senior and I was a Junior, our eyes met innocently enough as I was entering my homeroom and he was hanging out with another of my classmates at the time. The connection was made and we've been together ever since.
We began dating exclusively then upon graduation he went into the Navy, and my family moved but we stayed in touch via letters, for the following year, got engaged and married a year later in 1966 and settled in California.
We've been an item with each other I figure for 45 of our 61 years and married for 41 of them. A match meant to be I'd say.

I was a flight attendant for a major airline. My to be hubby was on board and we visited on the long flight from NYC to London's Heathrow. I told him that I lived in NYC and that I needed a bicycle to get around town. SURPRISE! he owned a bike shop. When I got back home, and about 3 weeks later, I bought a bike from him, and we peddled very happily together for 30+ years. He died a while ago and I still really miss him. CJ

We met on American Singles.com. We both wanted to meet someone in our home state. We read each other's profiles, liked what we read, & he began instant messaging me via AS, then we e-mailed (via AS) each other for a while, got to know a lot about each other, then when the time was right, he asked if he could call me. I agreed & a few months later, he made the three hour trip one weekend so we could meet . Long story short, we are now engaged & will marry next year.

HE added me as a contact first...I was a little more cautious of him! lol Then HE answered a baseball question I had asked, quite some time later and I emailed him about it!!! Right around the same time...we both answered a question about birthdates and found out that WE both were born on Nov. 26th!!! Started talking through emails more and became good friends, then best friends, and it just grew and grew from there!!! Now WE are totally in love and plan to be together forever!!! =D

We were introduced to each other by a mutual friend. I was a drunken sailor and thought he was obnoxious. hahahahaha He cooked ribs for me and I literally threw the bones at him, he says that was my way of flirting. I was at a point in my life where I was kinda anti men, well, things happen. It did take him a little while to break me of the habit of biting him, I called them love bites, he called them pain.
We get along great now
Funny thing is we traveled the same areas, with in blocks of each other our entire lives. We knew alot of the same people, yet had never met.

I was coordinator/working the First Aid Station at our County Fair. I was an EMT, but volunteering with the Red Cross, and had just finished Nursing College. He was working extra duty as a Firefighter/Paramedic. It was cold and rainy all week. He and his partner kept coming into my First Aid station to drink my nice hot coffee. It took him a week but he finally did ask me out. We married 7 months later.
