When the candidates attack each other, throwing mud in all directions, do you pay attention? Or are you waiting for the dust to settle so you can pay attention to the issues again?

I pay attention to every detail during a campaign. NO matter how small there is some thread you can look into. Like any good detective u look for clues.

This election is just warming at the plate. The Mitchell report means nothing as the swinging starts here the bodies will fall.
Hillary Clinton is taking the heat of her own devices already.
A campaign on steroids. Amped with no where to go but down.
Happy Holidays.

I roll my eyes and wait until the dust settle so I can focus on the issues again. I don't like mud-slinging or negative campaigning.

Candidates should focus on communicating their own views and vision. They should not waste time trying to color my opinion of the opposition. It actually makes me view a candidate negatively if they smear others.

I prefer to see open discussion on the issues, but I pay attention to the smear campaigns as well. Willingness to smear opponents says something about a candidate's character.

I have to admit I dont know why smear campaigns work. I will not vote for someone just because the other person is bad. Tell me what you are going to do not how bad the other guy or girl will do.

The public should make it very clear that it will not tolerate the smear campaigns that have been the norm for too long.

I hate it. I'd rather hear what you are going to do for the country, etc, instead of what your opponent is "up to". We can all figure that out by ourselves.
