My cousin Olivia who is 10 loves to watch the hills and she also likes the show gossip girl. She is always saying that she wants to be Lauren or that she would love to be Blair. She wants to have their lives and is trying to live them. She was on the computer looking up everything about them and is buying every thing they have. She is even acting like them. I keep telling her that that is not how most people live and act but she isnt listening. I dont want her to be known as a sl*t and a wh*re becuase thats what thouse girls are on TV. How do i convince her to not base her life on theirs?

Dont know anything about gossip girls, but Im kind of suprised you say that about Lauren. (although maybe a few others on the show)
Plus why is a 10 year old watching that? Try talking to her parents first.

Show her other movies or shows that the actors have played in, to show that they're just being paid to act

I use to be like that with reality TV.She'll get over it 1day when she gets older.
