We are primata chordata craniata mammalia hominidae homo sapiens.

We are possessed of a spinal cord - chordata

We have brains in our heads - craniata (there are other places for brains)

We are mammals

We are primates - relatives of monkeys and baboons and orangutans and the like.

We are members of the Homonid family of primates. Homonid = "man-like"

We are genus Homo - man

We are species Sapiens - thinking man.

There have been other species such as Homo habilis - "handy man - the tool maker"; homo neanderthalis, Neanderthal man; homo australopithecus, homo afarensis, etc. All of them similar except for the "sapiens" part.

I believe it's kingdom anamalia because we have all the characteristics of animals (multicellular heterotrophs, hox gene sequences, etc). As for phylum, we're classified under chordata because of our spinal cords, developmental process, etc.
