The GULF or West Coast of Florida has warmer water and warmer air temperatures. Check out an article through The Discovery Channel on the Ten Best Beaches in Florida.

Having been to both I personnally like Florida Beaches for the cleanliness and quaility of the sand and the water on the coast.My favorite area to go to is the Emerald Coast of Northwest Florida.

Many of Florida's beaches can be driven on with your vehicle. You pay a fee, drive down to a spot you'd like to park, take out your chairs, umbrella, coolers and spend the day. Swim with the kids, play frisbee and just have fun.
We don't have the mountains California has, so we go to the beach.

The water is warmer, clearer & the sand on the beaches is typically whiter.

Well not today lol....It was 35 degrees all day and I had PE at school :-(...And all my classes were outside....Its just because it is closer to the Equator so it is typically warmer
