I have never eaten raw meat. What are you talking about?

I'm an American and I come from a culture where most of what we eat is medium-rare. Simply put, when you're talking about beef, only improperly handled meat may have e. coli. I've eaten loads of tartare, carpaccio, and bleu beef without ever getting ill. If you want to do raw beef from the store, assume the beef has already been infected. On a very hot pan, sear it quickly on all sides. Your beef is now cooked bleu. Cut off the cooked portions and slice thin for carpaccio. Season with salt, pepper, extra virgin olive oil, and shaved Parmesan cheese. For tartare, after removing the cooked portions, brunoise the raw meat and hand-mix with a little onion, raw egg (beaten), salt, and pepper. Unless you really know your fish, avoid just chowing down on uncooked fish. Certain fish are known to harbor some nasty parasites and can make you pretty sick without proper preparation. If you must, stick with tuna and oysters. Believe it or not, salmonella is pretty uncommon in poultry. However, due to poor sanitary conditions, about 1 in 3 birds harbors high levels of Campylobacter. It won't kill you, but you'll need a toilet-and-trashbin combo in 12-24 hours. Trichinosis has been all-but-eradicated in pork products. However, Campy and salmonella are issues. Also, undercooked pork tastes terrible.

Americans typically don't force their kids to eat raw meat - ever! I've never met anyone who does so, have kids myself and have never done this, and I'm pretty sure most people never do this.
I presume this is a joke/question and is intended to reflect the blood-thirstiness and/or barbarism of Americans as a people. I would like to point out that most Americans do not agree with present governmental policies, procedures, and behaviors and eagerly anticipate regime change.

OK, good question, it's like, rattling the cage to wake us up. Cite a type of instance where this happens, that you alledge. Even being the Judge, yea, some people do eat steak tar tar. Kids do not do this. Ugg the caveman invented fire, so Jane could COOK the meal. Your question does not upset me. You're on the road to upsetting the troups.

Cuz it's so tasty. After they're teenagers they do it on they're own; thus you no longer need to force them!
