Depends on what you like to do. If you like to party, there are hot clubs and bars with great live music... blues, rock, hip hop, alternative, you name it.
If you like to shop, there are great stores on State Street and michigan ave., as well as in Lakeview, Wicker Park, etc.
If you don't mind the outdoor, you could visit the Lakefront along the downtown area, Stroll along navy Pier, visit Millenium Park.
If you are a science/history/art buff, you could visit the Chicago History Museum, the Field Museum, The Museum of Science and Industry, the Art Institue, Museum of Contemporary Art, Shedd Aquarium, Adler Planetarium
It all depends on what you like to do. Chicago has a lot to offer.
