Next semester I will have to pay $1000 more for my dormitory in school, and my parents cannot afford this presently. I may have to take out a new loan, but if I can avoid it, I will. Do you have any ideas on how I can make $1000 over my break?

Think of something other students want or need for their education that you could sell to them. If the price is not too low and reasonable you could make that much in a week if you worked real hard at it.

Get a job for 6 dollars an hour. That is 12K a year, or 1000 per month. You can pretty much get these jobs anywhere, McDonalds, grocery store as a stocker. Hell you can make more then that. 1000 in one month is basically minimum wage. On your W4 claim 6 dependents, you wont have taxes either way if thats all you are trying to get.
Take your break and get a job. You can easily make 1,000 in a month.... even working minimum wage.

first log all the money you spend on a daily basis to see how much you waste a great way to do this is to ask for a reciept and at the end of each night right out what you bought then after that ask yourself if you can cut anything that is wastefull!
like buying water or tea! you can make it for a lot cheaper so that 's at least 1 dollar a day you'll save!
just cut pop out all togther you'll save money and your teeth!
see if you really need someone of the extra's you have in yourlife like magizen scrips cabel tv. large car loan.. eating out for lunch and dinner more then eating in!
all this stuff you may have to cut back on if you want to reach your goal!
or you can see how much you make a week and see how many weeks you have untill payment is due and do the math see how much you ahve to tuck away the rest is your money to live on!
schooling is all about loans in the good oll usa!
