I think Apocalypse is derived from the Greek word for revelation. I also think those Christians who constantly speak of Armageddon couldn't find the town of Megedo in Israel on a map and don't know that was the site of the first recorded battle in history. The amount of mistranslation and misapplication of what John of Patmos wrote in that revelation is simply astounding!
