The most obvious answer I can give you is that most 14 year olds have nothing to compare them to. If you never had a gourmet meal, you might think a Big Mac was good too. For all their fans on here, there's still plenty more that can't stand them, so all is right in the universe.

Mmm, anyway, there's a lot of teenagers on here. I have no problem with people that like their music- though I hate it- just the ones that are like OMG SO CUTE! and that's the only reason they like it. It's like saying "Don't you just love Pink Floyd's voice? She's like, soooo pretty." I could just smack 'em! As a joke, I carry around a picture of Mick Jagger to show to them :D

Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge is a really great album...
which is way more than I can say for The Black Parade.

Because they are mindless sheep that are slaves to Clear Channel, and other companies intent on the blanding of America.
Ya know, it's possible that they don't even REALIZE that there is music out there other than what Clear Channel allows us to hear!
Basically, I think it boils down to that they just don't know any better.

I dont really know I loved them when Im not Okay came out and became obssesed with them (embarrased) and I brought you my bullets you brought me you love and three cheers for sweet revenge were amazing albums but black parade was crap stupid sellouts, people like them because they can relate to them and the music, the members are "hot" and their songs are annoying and get in your head ( new album only, others are good in my opinion)

mcr was a okay band , solid first album.... somewhat more popular , but maybe not better 2nd album and a crappy 3rd .. somewhere along the way ... 14year olds began listening to them and made them overrated .. theyre an okay band compared to (in my opinion) shitty bands (fob,good charlotte,simple plan, p!atd) they have a few good songs but theyre not the gods that the 14 year olds claim them to be

I don't know! mainly 12 or 14 year olds! they gave me thumbs down just because i said they were emo jajajaja! They think mcr is metal!! crazy! jajaja they make me laugh!
