It depends on the Investment Banker, not all Investment Bankers make the same amount of money.

You would have to interview every Investment Banker, to find out his/her salary/bonus.

If one works for a major Investment Bank, i.e., Goldman Sachs, they can earn a very large sum of money, plus bonuses.

my lawyer's daughter married an investment banker. He made $6 million a year. Boy was she a gold digger.

It is quite common for a newbie to make 70-100K/yr plus bonuses, and also quite common for an experienced guy at a big firm or who owns his own firm to make 10-50 million in a year.
