The St. Louis Blues have the deepest prospect pool in the nhl by far. They have five first round picks coming up next year (Marek Schwarz, Ian Cole, T.J. Oshie, Patrik Berglund and Lars Eller), they have the last years college point leader(Jay Barribal), Three second round draft picks (Tomas Kana, Simon Hjalmarsson and Aaron Palushaj), Three current first round players (Erik Johnson, David Perron and Hannu Toivnonen), Second rated college goalie (Ben Bishop) and a group of current and future prospects, (Roman Polak, Steve Wagner, Jonas Junland, Cade Fairchild, Alexander Hellstrom, Anthony Peluso, David Backes and DJ King)

Colour me bias, but I say the Ottawa Senators.
I know a lot of people compare them to Tampa with their "all the money in three players" thing, but the difference between them and Tampa is they not only have Spezza, Heatley, and Alfredsson locked up, but they also have Mike Fisher, and their top 2 defencemen in Phillips and Volchenkov locked up long term too. The core is set for the next 4 years, it's just a matter of tweaking.

But in this day and age, I think it's hard for any team to be a dynasty. There's just so much competition and so many teams to play. Just to win your conference you need to be better than 14 teams.

Actually Central Scouting has St. Louis ranked 5th behind Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Chicago, and Washington.

Sorry

Joe, he didn't say dynasty, he said DYNATSY! LOL

I'm willing to suffer through another 25-year playoff streak. I lived through 3 Finals in the first 3 years. I guess I'm ready for anything! :)

Senators look pretty good,Oilers are starting to get it together, and (sadly) Sid the kid and those bunglers only need a couple of healthy defencemen.

Impressive, but we have to see if everything pans out. Many teams have a bunch of bright youngsters in the system.
