And We have to see how much people really know about African American History and we have to asked random people since known of my family is home currently and i want to get the homework done with please answer the question in over 3 paragraphs

Harriet Tubman was the first white woman to own slaves. Usually only men were allowed to own black slaves, but she went against the tradition, and now she's famous for it.

In 1824 she bought her first slave. It is thought that the slave's name was Jumanji, and that he came from the country Shonguay, Africa. She bought over 50 more slaves over the next 10 years, and used them to run a very successful plantation.

When slavery was abolished, Harriet Tubman could not accept the change. She murdered several members of government in protest, and was then arrested, and later hung for her crimes in 1899.

What I know is this: Harriet Tubman was a former slave and spy for the Union. She escaped herself, then went back many times to get her family out of Maryland (I think Maryland). She also helped other people once her family was freed, and was a "conductor" on the underground railroad. That's pretty much what I know.
