All the time. This is perhaps the most thought provoking question about the show.

Rumor has it that Mrs. Howell was meeting the Captain, Mr. Howell was chasing Ginger, who had a thing for Gilligan, who was clueless to everything. The more twisted viewers believed that Gilligan was "into coconuts," but that might be stretching "things" a bit too far.

This left the Professor and Marianne. What a waste. Don't tell me that you never had any wild fantasies about Marianne_not_Ginger, er..., I mean Marianne. Hehehe.

no. she obviously liked him! I mean come on, delivering him coconut creme pies via his hut and not the 'community dinner table'... several times a week? That was a major clue right there! *grins* one or twice is kind and considerate, but like 8 or 9 or 12? She so had the hots for him. He should've asked her! lol :)

There was no "out" to go on Gilligan's Island. But I'm convinced they were a couple. Remember it was a family show in the days when that meant you didn't even allude to sex, let alone depict it.

He was secretly hoping that the Captain would dump Gilligan so that he could get up close and comfotable with "Little Buddy".
