I have traveled in Europe with Americans who lacked respect for history and the antiquity of objects, IE 400 lb. man who sat on the 500 year-old altar table at Westminster Abbey to rest.... We are not all like that. Also, many of us believe that we should, as members of the UN, act within it's determinations, and as a signatory country on the Geneva Convention for the Treatment for Prisoners of War, we should avoid even the appearance of using methods of torture. Sometimes our Presidents are elected by very slim margins. However, American soldiers are some of the bravest men and women that ever walked the earth, and we are very proud of them, and their courage.

Well, i'm not american and i personally have never been there, but most of the people i knows view of them is that they are loud rude impatient, annoying and arrogant. As a nation i think you have got your values right but have a dreadful foreign policy. I think you are trying to intervene with things that divert any blame in global affairs away from your selves and i think you should have elected al gore instead of the prat you have got now. I think that your government ignores its own problems and doesn't help the people who need the help and do not care about its people properly. I know you will all hate me for saying this but at least i was honest.

I think that we are all created equally, but Americans don't believe this, they believe is the American way or no way, doing this works out well, I guess.
Taxes suck, unemployment office sucks, people that work for my father call in constantly with stupid reasons, he fires them eventually after the 10th time in 2 months and he has to go to court to argue with these pathetic American people.
I'm American born and raised, but I do my part and my way, about 50% of Americans collect money somehow, or just don't work.
I work my *** off and I have Cystic Fibrosis, I have masive lung infections at times and have to be hospitalized and i get back on the horse after, people get a bad cough and are out of work, i just don't understand why someone like myself can be a sick person and work but a over weight person collects SSI.

They're great! Land of the free - home of the brave!
Seriously, there are good and bad people in every country. We believe in freedom, the right to speak freely and capitalism. We love our country and even though we fight with each other over politics, we will defend each other to the death. We fight for the right to worship as we please and we don't understand why other people would want to live any other way.

No there is good & bad.... like in any culture/country.
You really can't put "Americans" in one catagory because were all human.
Some are good people... Some aren't so good people.
=)
Or if you mean Americans & how we live......... well I guess others can be the judge of that.

As bad as it is getting with all the sexual immorality it is still the best place on earth to live.
If you don't like it here you can go live in Iran, Iraq or one of those other countries that treat their people like trash.

Good. We give more to charity than any country in the world. Plus, we are more involved in volunteer work, too. Americans have more money, and more to give to everyone.

The people who came to Am came from countries that were full of people, had a lot of rules to govern them.
Now that Am is full of people and have a lot of rules to govern them they aren't much different than any European Country.
