Your GPA (the biggest factor) isn't up there, so it's hard to make a call.
Though just looking at that info, I'd say your getting in doesn't look too likely unless you're part of a very underrepresented ethnic minority and/or your hospital volunteer work involved some sort of lab experience.

All that is left to do is to improve that SAT score. By a lot. Other than your mediocre score, I would say that your credentials are excellent. You've not only been active, you've had leadership roles. So I didn't bother to read verbatim the chunk you included under your resume. Sounded like some kind of Myspace or eHarmony blurb. ...How did you afford People to People if you are "low-income"? Interesting. And as "no u" so frankly put it, being black is a plus. As for why the SATs seem to be important....I have no clue. It's a dumb test.

Your SAT scores are good enough to get in.

You don't mention your GPA. You will need a 3.8 unweighted and a weighted GPA above 4.0 -- with lots of AP classes to be qualified.

Being qualified isn't enough. Stanford only accepts 10% of those who apply. If we assume that half those who apply are qualified (and I suspect it is more) then 80% of the qualified students are rejected.

To get in, you need to set yourself apart. Volunteering is nice -- but extracurriculars are easy to pad and hard to verify. Therefore, your interviews and essays will be critical.

Overall -- the odds are against you getting into Stanford even if you are highly qualified to get in. However, you will probably get into some good school.

If your GPA is no lower than a 4.85 weighted (4.0 scale)and you're in the top 2% of your class, I'd say your chances are about 40% of getting in. Any lower and your chances drop a lot. An SAT in the 2200s may have helped a lot.

Hmmm...

I don't know the breakdown of the scores for the new SAT, but that seems good.

Nice extras, but what is your GPA and class percent...

Those are factors too.
Plus, you might want to interview

Good luck, I think you have a decent shot

all you need now is to have your parents donate some money to the school and then you'll be a shoe in.
