I went 4 years ago,they asked about my house,i told the judge
that i filed ''home stead'' on it. they can`t take it away from you.
They talked to me and the wife both. it was easy.
I heard that it is a little harder now.
MY credit is a lot better than it was.
I don`t remember all the questions,they are nothing to worry about. Good luck to you.

I have attended Chapter 7 proceedings and I can tell you that if you have any jewelry or anything of value that you display, don't wear it before the judge. I've seen things that have been in a family for decades confiscated by a judge because it had a significant dollar value. The judges attitude: "How can you stand before the court to file chapter 7 while you're wearing a $10,000.00 necklace"?
