Perhaps it was when I .....
1) started making homemade crafts for my cats to enjoy ...
OR
2) when I decided they should all have their own monogrammed bath towels ......
OR
3) when I gave them each a first, last and middle name, in addition to special nicknames .....
For example, and I SWEAR I am not making these up!
** Finnegan became: Finny Finnster My Little Boy Boy
** Buttercup became: Buttery Cups of Butter Butts
** Casey became: Casey Casserson and Casey Macey
** Mooshki became: Mooney Moonie Mook-Mooks
and finally,
** Paco became: Pappoose Poosh-Koosh Pakoosh
And yes, these are ALL the REAL NAMES of my cats ...

Oh, so so many road signs along the way.
I guess the first and most common is talking to my cat.
Next, all the research I put into cat nutrition.
The latest? The truly astounding amount of anger I feel about the fact that they actually make vegan cat food - and that people buy it. I'm thinking of donning my armor, mounting my trusty steed and SLAYING both makers and buyers (in a legal way of course. I think.....yeah, legal.)
For crying out loud, why have a carnivore as a pet if you don't want to feed it meat?
EDIT: I forgot - I also gave both girls middle names too! They're both Marie but what are you going to do?

LMAO Gosh id have to say it was when I caught myself feeding all the stray cats that somehow managed to find my front door! Our neighbor has like 30 cats- I kid u not- and half of them are soooo skinny and it breaks my heart to see any animal hungry so Im suckered into feeding them everyday and they just love to see me open the door! I have my own inside kitty kat and I knew id gone off the deep end when I dressed him a little blue dress and baby bonnet and sang rock a bye Tiger to him!!! LOL

I won't go on a vacation because Humble has to have a wee little pill every day (Benezapril) for his bladder, and I do not trust anyone to do it but me. I won't take him to be boarded at the vet because his broth-fur Shenandoah would be upset, Humble would be upset,and he might get sick from another cat.
My 2 cats control the bed. I sleep around them.
They're my only family.
I talk to them about things. They watch TV with me.
I go here:

and they "talk" to cat friends in "paws and reflect" section.
I sing lullabies to them.
I spent $1000 on Humble's surgery over a year ago.
I spend $600 a year just on their teeth and shots.
My cats are my angels.

LOL! I realized it when I made up songs for all my cats using their names and the tunes "You Are My Sunshine" and "Row, row, row your Boat"! I love you being my contact!
