Maybe it's time for the BCS to treat the Big Ten like the WAC and make them ineligible for the Championship game until they get their act back together. It's kind of getting boring watching OSU getting waxed in bowl games against the SEC. Considering that the Big Ten is a glass shell of what it once was is clearly an argument that Hawaii should be playing for the Championship. Plus, Hawaii would have a much greater chance of winning their bowl game if they were matched up against the over-rated, easy schedule playing, buckeyes than the Georgia Bulldogs of the SEC. Remember, OSU 0-8 vs SEC in bowl games.

Yes, I am so confident that LSU will wax OSU that if I am wrong, I will go away. But when I'm right, let's see you ask a question on why OSU is so over-rated. GATORS 41 - OSU 14 and that was with players on this year' s team pal!!!

The Big Ten has been overrated for many years in the major sports. I would think that the NCAA, the sports writers, fans, etc. would finally see that.
This year, the Big Ten was rated as the sixth strongest conference in college football. That is pretty poor.
You asked a good question and make a good point.
I just giggle when I see the results of the Big Ten and ACC challenge in NCAA basketball every year.

This is an on going thing that the sport writers and computer rankings have done for years. Since the SEC keeps knocking each other off weekly and the records look a little more tarnish is become a practice. The BCS year in and year out try to keep the SEC out (Remember Auburn being undefeated and USC blows Oklahoma away). It even goes back before the BCS. I can remember #1 OSU playing USC in Rose bowl and OSU is an 8 point underdog. USC won and Alabama given National Title. I hear it right the other day, let the odds makers line up the BCS. But hey the Big Ten will be rank highly again in basketball also and they just got wipe out by the ACC who will get a fourth rank conference again.

Unfortunately you are not "right all the time"
The Big 10 is still a very good conference historically and this I agree is a down year. The previous years since 2002 the Big 10 has had 13 Top Ten teams in the AP.
Funny you are so hard on a team with 4-1 bowl record in the past 5 years, 5 National Championship titles, a overall record of 798-302 and is going to its 3rd National Championship in the past 5.
OSU is an underdog, I love it!, they were in 2002, so was Tennessee (1998), LSU (2003), Oklahoma (2000), Florida (2006) and Texas (2005).
GO BUCKS!

Remember what happens anytime a team feels overconfident. THEY LOSE! Just because last year's game was ugly doesn't mean that the Big Ten teams are a bunch of patsies. I'll admit the Big Ten powerhouses played some easy teams, but they mostly played each other. Sure Ohio State played Youngstown State, Penn State played Florida International, Wisconsin played The Citadel, but most teams play a cupcake or two.
Ohio State is definately no cupcake season opener warmup team. They'll prove it by holding LSU down to 41-3, and allowing two meaningless touchdowns in the last two minutes to make a final score of 41-17 Ohio State.
I'll agree on one thing, Hawaii got ripped off. Hawaii's getting robbed like the 1994 Penn State team was when instead of playing in the championship game, it's given an Oregon punching bag to take out its frustration on over being excluded from the national championship as a consolation prize. That was the same Penn State team that absolutely shredded Ohio State and Michigan, two perennial Big Ten powerhouses.

So if Ohio State does beat LSU, will that mean you will go away or what. I look forward to a great game & I am a fan of neither team so I am nuetral on picking winner of game though, but I have noticed a lot of haters for OSU to be honest. I don't think Georgia should be there in championship game. May the better team win

The Big Ten is not an overrated conference. Maybe the reason that their record looks so bad is because any team in the Big Ten is capable of pulling off an upset. Im an Illinois fan myself, and I witnessed my team beat Ohio State for their only loss, and watched them lose to Iowa one week later. Any upset can happen any week in the big 10. But when other conferences come into play, they pale in comparison to the Big 10.

You go 4-1 in BCS games and 1-1 in NC games and its getting waxed?
Why does OSU's 0-8 record matter? None of the players in this game played in most of them.
