My husband likes the name Bailey Drew for a boy.. but I want to know if people are going to think its a girls name . open to other ideas as well. I like different names but nothing that is going to be hard to pronounce or get spelled right..

Bailey is too feminine for a boy. Imagine a grown man named Bailey. It's very girly. And I like Andrew instead of just Drew. I like:

Justin Andrew
Ryan Andrew
Aaron Andrew
Gregory Andrew
Samuel Andrew

I agree with you.
maybe Drew Bailey would be better because Drew is usually a boy's name.
But i mostly see Bailey as a girls name.

If i saw Bailey first then Drew i would assume Drew was meant to be feminie.

But Drew Bailey I would see Drew as masculine and assume Bailey was too.

It works but perhaps to steer clear of confusion by calling him Bailey Andrew, that way it's clear and your husband still gets the Drew in there.
Another thought give him a first name that is in your family like Jonah Bailey Andrew but still call him Bailey. That way in school when they call out Jonah, he can say I go by my middle name Bailey or my initials JB.

My almost 3yo daughters name is Bailey. I received a lot of negativity about naming her that from family and friends because bailey is a boys name. some of them still don't like it because it is masculine.

I like the sound of Bailey Drew for a boy.

besides remember Bailey from party of Five - not exactly feminine. (something my sister reminded me of)

Bailey is definately a girls name, at least from everyone I have known named Bailey. I don't understand some people on here think Bailey is a boys name. Anyway on behalf of your unborn son; please don't name the poor boy Bailey.

Both Bailey and Drew sound too feminine. Also I've heard Bailiey a lot for girls, and for dogs.

Bailey Drew does sound a bit feminine in my opinion, probably because I know so many female Bailey's. But, both names are definitely unisex.
