I have only received 27! Everyone must be falling behind like I always do with the cards! I haven't even taken my daughter's picture for ours yet!!

With most things in life -- you've gotta give, to get.
Cards are down, this year... I agree. We have only gotten about 15-17 to date, and that is really odd... I'm hearing people haven't the time (but year after year, people get lazier and lazier about this... and we may see it fizzle in our lifetimes.) In fact, people MOVE so often, and hardly ever send their new addresses... that there's a frustration-factor, even if we WANT to get the cards out. Funny thing is, people ASK for our cards... they even CALL us and ask (got 8-9 calls over the weekend). But, I think it's a matter of cost - that people are cutting back...
It cost me $157 to make 125 cards, and another $50+ for the stamps -- that's $200 and a TON of time/effort to get these done, and out. People just don't make EFFORTs anymore, or care about neighbors or family all that much -- it's all about what's in front of them.. and this has its affect on the tradition.

I've gotten about 8 cards so far and I mailed out quite a bit more then that. Ugh! I hope to get a lot during this week.
