I have two questions. First, I'd like to know the expansions you need for Sims 2 and what you need to do to become: PlantSims, Yetis, Zombies, and robots? (I allready know about Vampires and Werewolves)

The other thing is (the more urgent part of the question) is that I read on a forum that cheat codes with the rule "boolprop" will ruin your game. It was just some person so I need to know if it's really true, and if it's not should I use them. There are some really nice codes out there, mostly using 'boolprop', but I don't want to ruin my game. Please help me! Thanks!

-Plantsims u need Seasons
-You cant actully become a yeti but there are bigfoot/yeti thing is Bon Voyage
-Zombies u need University (its when u get brought back from the dead)
-U can build robots in Open For Buisness

And no u will NOT ruin your game using boolprop! I have used it for as long as I can remeber and never had any problems at all. Its "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" and then u can right click on sims and the mail box. It has a bunch of awsome cheats! :)

Expansions are:

University - zombies
Nightlife - vampires
Open for Business - servos
Pets - werewolves
Seasons - plant sims
Bon Voyage - bigfoot

To become a zombie, you need the career reward Resurrect-o-Nomitron . If one of your sims dies, get another sim to use the object, and if they pay between 988 - 4127 simoleons the sim will come back as a zombie.

Servo (robot) - You need to get a robot-making bench, and work your way up to a Gold badge by using it a lot. Then you'll have the option to make a servo, which you can activate and then is added on to your sim family.

Werewolf - You need to become friends with a wolf, which are the big dogs with glowing yellow eyes that come to your sim's house at night. When the relationship meter is high enough, the wolf will "nibble" your sim, turning it into a werewolf.

Plant sim - your sim will become a plant sim after using to much pesticide on his crops (you can use pesticide when there are green things flying around plants. they only come if you don't have the ladybug house).

Bigfoot - In Three Lakes, you can choose "Dig for treasure" on the ground and you sim may find a "map to a secret location". When you find the one to the secret location in Three Lakes, then you'll go to Bigfoot's home. Get a high enough relationship with him, and you can invite him to your house after your vacation and ask him to move in.

Boolprop can possibly ruin your game, but I've been using it for a year or so (and I play the sims 2 at least three times a week), and haven't had any problems.

I hope you appreciate this, because I spent all of that time typing that instead of copying and pasting :(

Plant Sims <-- Seasons
Yetis <-- Bon Voyage
Zombies <-- University
robots<--Open for Business

And as for "boolprop" I have been using them since I got my game which has been over a year and they have not messed up my games. You don't have to use boolprop, but they are pretty useful.

Plantsims - Seasons
Yetis - Bon Voyage, but you can't turn your sim into one
Zombies - University
Robots - Open for Business (again, you can't turn your sim into one, but your sim can build one and you can play it)

Boolprop can ruin your game, yes, and it's not recommended. However, some people get by with no problems if they use it sparingly. If you want to attempt it, make sure you turn it off when you're done.

start a new game with nothing and try them. either way cheats will corrupt any game file whether it be sims, grand theft auto, etc. you can also make a backup file of your game and then try them on the duplicate file =)
